Lazeez Affaire | Dinning Diary 2017

Image
Saturdays Outing with Bhatts | 29th July, 2017 We planned this dinning out for Connaught Place but due to heavy weekend crowd change our venue last minute to Chanakya Puri at Lazeez Affaire . This place was quite peaceful as located at Lutyens and more often visited by nearby embassy's personality. No heavy drinkers only few families, friends and small groups of Japanese(may be Chinese) were enjoying the place when we arrived at the avenue. No loud pubby music only simple jazz, lighting also not glittery but ambience was cool and aesthetic. Not wasted our time further and asked about menu for making order for the night. Although this time again we thought of having main course in the end but as usual starter filled up our tummy to burping level. No matter how full were we all, but took a chance to have daal & chawal in the end and it tasted delicious then previously order items. Below are our feedback for the short dinner dating | dinner court...

Mountaineering adventure of Chandrashila Peak | Travel Diary June 2017

Image
Chandrashila Peak | Morning of 26 th June 2016 | After visiting Tungnath temple, the team of six people breaks in four to climb mountain peak called Chandrashila. It was a wise decision to let the Baby and Mother return back to Chopta without hurrying instead of bringing them along as the trek was rough, broken and slightly narrow about 500 meter and sleepy steep uphill upto the top. In winters season this trek is not operational due to heavy snowfall, and even it was quite difficult for amateur people like us to climb it in summer. | Atmosphere was cold and we were fully clothed but met shirtless foreigners guy in midway and they were fully enjoying weather and climbing like a runner. Also our two partners just disappeared as a perfect adventurer so we husband and wife sat a while for a short break to look a view of Death Valley and vast green meadows. We managed to reach at top in about one hours after covering somewhat one km rigorous distance from Tungnath. ...

Tungnath Mandir | Uttrakhand | Travel Diary June 2017

Image
Summery It’s about three km steep uphill track to reach Tungnath Temple from Chopta on feet and if your laziness and fatigue stops you to do so, you could take a horse ride of around 1k rupee depends on your bargaining power or tour season. We were told that in winter people go back to their village as meadows fills up with snow, and temperature is reached to unbearable stage. Journey (16th June, 2017) Instead of taking horses' ride we decided to go as pedestrian and our trekking begins in wee hours at around 4 am with total number of five people with a kid. It was pitch dark at start but as soon as we hit the trail darkness disappeared pretty soon and glow of morning sun emerged on the horizon. Although, it took us half an hour to reach midway and a much of energy level of our stamina lost its strength. And, e ven at midway we just found two other youngsters’ traveler as hardly anybody was interested to go at this early morning.  However, to regain our batteries we ...

Delhi to Nainital | One Day tour | Travel Diary June 2017

Image
Journey Date 26th June, 2017 Begins at 12 am. This Nainital trip was decided a day before only as ma-paa desperately wanted to go there for outing. Though as a couple we recently toured Nainital in last Dec, finally agreed to accompany them with badi didi . We were well aware that this is last week for summer holidays and full packed tourists' rush would be waiting for us in no time. And to cover almost 300 km one side journey in less than 6 hours was going to be tough task in day hours! To avoid such traffic snarl we started our journey at midnight with no baggage, extra belongings with us except brush, toothpaste, and some eatables. We faced slow traffic situation from Shahdara to Ghaziabad but rest was quite smooth, however road from Rampur to Rudrapur was full of potholes, widening and repair work was also being carried out at highway all along. This roadblock discomforted all of us and affected journey time, luckily we had our pen-drive ready with enough...

My Small Balcony Garden | Delhi | June 2017

Image
In my teenage days, my mother used to plant Tulsi, Gendha, Sadabahar, Morphanki and off course the seasonal vegetables in our terrace. We had several money plant climbers which were so long to cover our wide fences. Although I would hardly pay any heed or provide any helping hand to mother for care of greenery, that time, but would enjoy the flourish and little landscaping. Later we moved to another flat and lost our terrace, so we distributed those greens to friends & relatives and only few were left with us. Rebuilding of mini Garden & Research  After renovation and extension of Balcony in our flat, that was almost 7 years, we started again our plantation. I enhanced my knowledge about different type of indoor/outdoor, seasonal/perennials, climbers/creepers category and even asked help from friends and relative to get the plants on cheaper price. I visited several local Nursery in Delhi/NCR, did a quite research via google, pinterest, find site viz ...

Trip to Narkanda | Himanchal Pradesh | Travel Diary July 2017

Image
Getting at Narkanda Almost seventy km far from Shimla , a small hill station, but inclusive of all basic amenities, even have petrol pump if your gas tank need refill. One may find crowed here on peak season, but people not ready to visit this place in rainy season due to obvious reasons, we hardly found reasonable tourist there. Room available at cheap price starting from 500, but we ended up booking nice & 3 star facility couple accommodation in 1000 rupee only. Don't forget to bring some warm clothe as you may have difficulty with climate adjustment although we were roaming in t-shirts & shorts. There is nothing especial out here except sceneric view, with sound and peaceful weather. You can find Narkanda Mandir on main Bazaar . If you are shopaholic this is not the right place as market is pretty small, but you could taste some Chinese or Punjabi food out here. Stay for a night and move ahead for new destination. Early Morning to Nagdevta Mandir, Hattu Pea...

सावन में नारकंडा | हिमांचल प्रदेश सैर | बरसात 2017

Image
